What we do with your donation
It’s important to know where your funds will land when you make that generous donation. Vouch4Vets is a nimble, lean technology charity, maximizing every dime from our corporate sponsors and individual donors. We are a small team, combining expertise in Talent Acquisition, Human Resources and Organizational Development with passion for serving those who sacrifice the most. The ones who raise their hand first, step forward the most and ensure our freedoms and liberties at home and abroad.
Below, we list the four major uses of funding. All funds go towards Vouch4Vets’ operating expenses, therefore 100% of charitable donations are 100% tax deductible. You’ll receive a receipt for your donation, just like this one from our site.
First, we craft software to help Vets and their Spouses get jobs.
Since 2017, the Vouch4Vets team has been dedicated to innovating the way Veterans land a great job. We’ve been building tools and widgets with the purpose of influencing hiring managers, using media other than the traditional 1 page, 2 page or 10 page resume.
We build Video Referral platforms for Advocates (a.k.a. References) to speak to the value of the job seeker more effectively than a vertically-scrolling document.
second, we help veterans, transitioning service members and their spouses get hr and recruiting jobs
In all of our presentations to dozens of Veteran Service Centers (VSC) and Veteran Service Organizations (VSO) at community colleges, what we hear most is: “I want to be a Recruiter“ and “I want to work in HR.” We help them by offering coaching and counseling, on an array of topics, thereby making it more likely they’ll succeed in that first Recruiting or HR job.
Third, we counsel Veterans, transitioning service members and their Spouses on navigating a job search.
Our team’s expertise with all contemporary Applicant Tracking Systems, HR team dynamics and Recruiting Programs can give Vets and their Spouses an edge getting through that “mysterious“ interview process. It makes sense when the job seeker is a better partner to that Recruiter, doesn’t it? We provide focused, high-signal guidance about how to make it an easy decision for companies to continue on with the Vets and Spouses we guide.
Fourth, we engage with thousands of vets and their spouses.
There are 20 million Veterans in the United States, and 250,000 more transitioning every year. In 2020, with an unemployment rate rivaling that of the Great Depression, we need to get our message to as many Vets and Spouses as possible - and fast. The whole purpose of Vouch4Vets was to get support to Vets and their Spouses as times got tough; and wouldn’t you know it, 30 million people have filed for Unemployment Insurance in the past 5 weeks.
